| It is located in the centre of Dublin, within half a mile of the city's chief attractions, shopping and leisure facilities. The 31 guestrooms are singly designed and named after Irish writers; all include bathrobes, complimentary designer toiletries, complimentary newspapers and bottles of water, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards and satellite television. The hotel's restaurant, the Canteen, is set in a former classroom with high beamed ceilings and long windows and serves modern Irish cuisine with Thai influences. The bar is besides set a former classroom, serves food all day and is one of Dublin's most popular nightspots. Those wishing to eat or drink in their rooms can take advantage of 24 hour room service. The hotel besides has a hair salon and fitness centre. Dublin's Grafton Street, Trinity College, Lansdowne Road and National Gallery are all within 500 metres and Dublin Port and Dun Ladighre are within five kilometres of the hotel. Dublin International Airport is around 30 minutes driving time and 15 kilometres (9 miles) forth. Delight Note: All 31 bedrooms will be refurbished from January to February 2006. One floor at time will be closed until each is completed, so at that place will be minimum impact on the guests; in addition, the work is decorative in nature, and as such as, should not present a noise issue to guests.
